Lawrence Roman Dies At 86

 Lawrence Roman best known as the writer of the Broadway musical 'Under The Yum-Yum Tree' died on Sunday at 86. Reports are saying he died due to a stroke complicated by kidney failure.

Roman's screenwriting career produced over twenty films and plays including "Paper Lion", McQ" and the film adaptation of "Under The Yum Yum Tree". Under The Yum Yum Tree tells the story of a playboy landlord, Mr. Hogan, whose plans of seducing his new female tenant get thwarted when her boyfriend moves in with her as well. Mr. Roman's other plays PS I Love You and Alone Together also were seen on Broadway in 1964 and 1984.

He served in the army in World War II and is survived by his wife, daughter, son and granddaughter.
