'Utopia' Stars and Composer to Appear at B&N, June 12

Mark Bennett, the award-winning composer of Tom Stoppard's The Coast of Utopia, along with cast members Martha Plimpton, David Pittu and Felicity LaFortune, will appear at a special event at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Square (Broadway at 66th Street) on Tuesday, June 12 at 5:30pm, to discuss the recording of the production's original score. 

Composer Mark Bennett won the Drama Desk Award for Best Original Score for The Coast of Utopia and cast member Martha Plimpton won the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Featured Actress for her performance in the trilogy. 

The discussion will be followed by a CD signing of the recording, which will be released by Ghostlight Records that day.

"Lincoln Center Theater's production of Tom Stoppard's The Coast of Utopia," according to press notes, "swept all the 2007 theatre awards, winning the Tony, NY Drama Critics' Circle, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Drama-League Awards for Best Play."
