Acclaimed American cellist Peter Sachon made his Birdland debut in a program entitled: "Peter Sachon - Strings Attached" on Monday, November 6 at 7PM.

The program, which included both contemporary and classical pieces, was directed by Tony Award-winning actress, Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza). The evening also featured vocal performances by Clark, Kelli O'Hara (The Pajama Game, The Light in the Piazza) and Michael Winther (Songs from an Unmade Bed), with Dan Lipton on piano.

Following Sachon's concert, Jim Caruso kicked off his weekly open mic night "Cast Party," which featured, among others, Lucie Arnaz and Sarah Rice--Sweeney Todd's original Johanna.
