GLEE's Chris Colfer has Broadway dreams, too. Like his co-stars Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and, now, Darren Criss, Colfer hopes to one day find himself performing live for audiences on the Great White Way. Only problem, he believes his dream role has yet to be written. During a sit down interview at the New Yorker Festival this weekend at the SVA Theater, Colfer implied that he, in fact, hopes to write his own role for the stage, stating that regarding his ideal part 'I haven't written them yet.'

As previously reported, the cast of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT will be performing the show stopper 'It's Raining Men' at the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday, June 12. The performance will be broadcast as part of the ceremony on CBS. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the rehearsal run with special guest performers Paul Shaffer (who wrote the tune) and Martha Wash (the song's original songstress). The trailer for Sarah Jessica Parker's next film, 'I Don't Know How She Does It,' has been released. The comedy, based on the book 'I Don't Know How She Does It: The Life of Kate Reddy, Working Mother,' tells the story of Kate Reddy (played by Parker), a finance exec who's the breadwinner for her husband and two kids. The trailer features Parker as well as Greg Kinnear who plays her husband. Other actors in the film include Pierce Brosnan, Olivia Munn, Kelsey Grammer, Seth Meyers, Jessica Szohr and Christina Hendricks.

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, the New York Philharmonic, EMK Productions and Screenvision present Stephen Sondheim's 'Company' in movie theatres across the nation. The production was shot in early April as part of the Philharmonic's spring gala. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) lead an all-star cast which included Patti LuPone, Stephen Colbert (The Colbert Report), Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Craig Bierko and Martha Plimpton. Taking a page from the GLEE book, AMC's Mad Men are trying their hand at musical performance, beginning with a rendition of Bye Bye Birdie from the musical classic of the same name. Production is gearing up for the hit show's fourth season on April 12, 2010, but there is no word as to whether any musical clips will make the broadcast episodes. AMC announced has renewed 'Mad Men' for a fourth season.
