PlayPenn Reveals Four New Shows For its 19th Season

Founded in 2005, PlayPenn has entered its 19th year of operation. This season also marks the third since the organization's resurgence. To celebrate, this July, PlayPenn will present readings of four new plays, adding to their already innumerable canon, which notably will soon be archived at The Free Library of Philadelphia.

The Reading Theater Project has announced the cast and performance details for Prospect Hill by Bruce Walsh, the second staged reading in the Play Reading Series: Wonder. The reading will take place Thursday, April 25, 2024, 7pm at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts’ Boscov Theatre.
Philadelphia Theatre Company Reveals New Managing Director and Board Chair

The Philadelphia Theatre Company (PTC) has named Margo Moskowitz their new managing director and Glenn Gundersen their new board chair. Moskowitz has been the theatre's general manager since 2018 and assumed the role of interim managing director last September. Gundersen joined the PTC board in 2009.
