Bay Area Cabaret opens its 15th season with Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe award-nominee Matthew Morrison making his San Francisco solo concert debut Sunday, September 30 at 7 pm in Song and Dance Man, a show celebrating his 20 years on stage and screen (Glee, Hairspray, South Pacific, Finding Neverland).

For the 11th consecutive year in conjunction with the NBA Finals, ABC will present “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night.” These special-edition episodes will air during prime time every night of the NBA Finals, beginning with Game One on Thursday, May 31.

LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). They are thrilled for performances to begin Wednesday, May 23, and will run through Saturday, June 9, 2018, at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, New York, NY 10014). The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the area's only year-round producing theatre, kicks off its 2018 Mega-Mini Season with Shrek The Musical. International star Lesley Nicol will play Miss Hannigan in the 40th Anniversary West End production of the timeless musical ANNIE when it crosses the Atlantic and comes to Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre, April 24 to May 27, 2018.

Last night (30 November 2017), the West End Company of Annie officially welcomed Meera Syal who now plays the role of Miss Hannigan in the hit musical at the Piccadilly Theatre. Syal celebrated with friends and family, including Lolita Chakrabarti, Sean Foley, Nitin Ganatra, Twiggy and Leigh Lawson and Nicola Walker, as well as fellow cast members. Syal will play the role of Miss Hannigan for the duration of the run which concludes, as previously announced, on 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.
