Everyman Theatre Honored with 'Baltimore Heritage Historic Preservation Award'
(6/18/2013) - Everyman Theatre will be honored by Baltimore Heritage at the 2013 Preservation Awards Celebration on Thursday, June 20th. Everyman Theatre will receive an Adaptive Reuse and Compatible Design Award as part of Baltimore Heritage's 2013 historic preservation awards ceremony. Ian Tresselt, Everyman's Managing Director, will be attendance to receive the award.

(6/15/2013) - Everyman Theatre closes its historic 2012/13 season with a staging of the rarely produced comedic gem, The Beaux' Stratagem. Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi directs the production, which features a large cast of 15 actors and includes Resident Company Members Megan Anderson, Clinton Brandhagen and Bruce Randolph Nelson. (6/14/2013) - Tickets are now on sale for Songs for a New World at Drama Learning Center in Columbia. This re-imagining by director Stephanie Lynn Williams and the TYA company turns the conventional interpretations of Jason Robert Brown's song cycle upside down by setting the piece in a future where Earth is on the verge of being destroyed and its history lost. Groups of people from various walks of life are selected for a mission to find a new world in the event that the planet is annihilated. Audiences will join them as they explore, remember, question, and move forward.

Spotlighters Offers 2013 Summer Young Actors Academy

Howard County Arts Council & Columbia Festival of the Arts to Host Special Reception, 6/20

The reception will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Howard County Center for the Arts and will feature three exhibits as well as an improv showcase and open artists' studios. Red Branch Theatre Co. to Launch New Summer Cabaret Series, 7/13
(6/10/2013) - Red Branch Theatre Company will hold its first series of one-night only cabaret performances this summer at Drama Learning Center in Columbia, MD. Each cabaret will consist of a solo or group headliner that regales audiences with a themed evening of songs and stories in a cabaret setting. Food and beverage will be available for sale before the show each night and during intermission. A cash bar will also be available for select performances.
