(Director/Choreographer for ASGT’s production of Chicago: The Musical)

Chicago, one of the most successful musicals ever, has been the recipient of several Tony Awards and has been adapted into an Oscar-winning film. This summer, Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre brings this razzle-dazzle musical to the stage.

Do you want an inside look into the world of “Chicago” as originally created by Bob Fosse, John Kander, and Fred Ebb? Looking for audition tips that will make you stand out from the rest? This workshop will have you better prepared for your audition, leaving you with confidence, knowledge, and useful tools.

Taavon Gamble, Director/Choreographer of ASGT’s Chicago, will share knowledge about Chicago’s on- and off-stage history. He will also teach choreography from the show, including such numbers as “All That Jazz” and “The Hot Honey Rag”.

Gain an understanding of how to improve your audition technique, how to nail the perfect song, and how to execute the choreography in a dance call.
