As the theatre's 16th Anniversary season begins, plans are in the works for the future. It has been a long time goal for an expansion, allowing the theatre to produce bigger shows, with the latest, stage-of-the-art theatrical equipment and technology. In addition, Way Off Broadway is working to begin producing and developing shows outside of the theatre itself at other venues around the region.
The most important part of Way Off Broadway's success over the years has been its audience. Being located in Frederick, audiences come from the entire tri-state region. From Central Pennsylvania to Washington, DC and Northern Virginia, from West Virginia to the Eastern Shore, the theatre draws crowds from all over. Being located along the 270 and 70 corridors, WOB is also a destination stop for tour groups traveling through the area. Way Off Broadway is in the center of it all.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has been a leader in the region's performing arts community since it first opened in 1995. Under the direction of the Kiska Family since 2002, WOB has produced such productions as A Funny Thing . . . Forum, Guys & Dolls, Steel Magnolias, Oklahoma!, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, The Odd Couple, A Chorus Line, The Sound of Music, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita, and Cats, as well as the area and regional premieres of Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical, Jerry Herman's La Cage aux Folles, The Wedding Singer, and Mel Brooks' The Producers. For 2010, following The Full Monty, Way Off Broadway is proud to bring productions of All Shook Up, Nunsense A-Men!, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Christmas Follies: The North Pole Revue to the stage.
