Flying into Baltimore's Theatre Project for eight shows running November 1 - 11, 2012, two companies on the forefront of aerial performance-Baltimore's In-Flight Theatre (Mara Neimanis) and Washington's Arachne Aerial Arts (Andrea Burkholder and Sharon Witting)-join forces to present For That Which Returns, an innovative aerial theater premiere, set atop a 18-foot kinetic steel sculpture of a weather vane. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the show below.

Spinning atop a suspended six foot arrow and swinging on the intricate arms of the standing sculpture below, Mara, Andrea and Sharon blend their personal stories with the myth of Demeter and Persephone to reveal the seasons of connection between mothers and daughters.

The 60-minute show, presented without an intermission, features an original script by Mara Neimanis; choreography and performance by Andrea Burkholder, Mara Neimanis and Sharon Witting under the direction of Bryce Butler; sculpture by Tim Scofield.

Oct. 31, Free Fall Baltimore: special free preview performance from 3pm-4pm followed by a workshop for mothers and daughters.

Showtimes: Thurs, Nov 1 - Sat, Nov 3 (8pm); Sun, Nov 4 (2pm); Thurs, Nov 8- Sat, Nov10 (8pm); Sun, Nov 11 (2pm). Tickets: $20 (general admission); $15 (seniors, artists); $10 (students). To purchase, call 410-752-8558 or purchase online at www.theatreproject.org.
