The Celebration of the Arts in Howard County, held at The Jim Rouse Theatre in Columbia, MD, will feature a reception from 6-8 p.m. with a silent auction of artwork by local artists, culinary delights from area restaurants and caterers, and musical performances on the Main Street Stage. At 8 p.m. the Howie Awards will be presented inside The Jim Rouse Theatre alongside the Rising Star Competition. Tickets are available for $75 and $50. A limited number of tickets are available for the show only for $25.The 2009 Howie Awards Committee is comprised of Barbara Lawson
