Hopkins Offers Course on Theater, 2/11

Former Baltimore Sun theater critic is presenting a series of lectures at Johns Hopkins University entitled "Director's Cut: Conversations with Artistic Directors of Area Theaters".

The class, part of the Odyssey Program, will be presented on Monday evenings beginning February 11 and continuing to March 11 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Initiating the program will be Everyman Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Vince Lancisi on Feb. 11.

On Feb. 18 Aaron Heinsman (former Board President of the Strand Theater Company) and Artistic Director of the Iron Crow Company, Steven Satta-Fleming will be featured.

On Feb. 25 Single Carrot's Nathan A. Cooper and Donald Owens, Artistic of the historic Arena Players will be speaking.

On March 4, newly appointed Artistic Director of Center Stage, Kwamam Kwei-Armah will be presenting his views.

And finally, on March 11, Ed Herendeen, Founder and Producing Director of the Contemporary American Theater Festival will end the course.
