Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss and What I Wore, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman, will make its Baltimore Premiere at the Fells Point Corner Theatre from tonight, November 9 to December 9.
For the women in this wickedly funny and powerfully evocative comedy, the clothes in their closets are like a magic time capsule that holds past identities, previous body shapes, and hopes seized or abandoned. From purses and prom dresses, bra fittings, “what was I thinking?!” purchases, and struggles with mothers, the authors of such Hollywood hits as "Sleepless in Seattle," "You’ve Got Mail," "Heartburn" and "Julie and Julia" illustrate that a smart, provocative show that goes straight to the heart of all women (and the men who love them) is always in fashion. In Love, Loss and What I Wore, fun comes in One Size Fits All!
Love, Loss and What I Wore is directed by Steve Goldklang, who directed last season’s The Little Dog Laughed. The cast features Helenmary Ball, Andrea Bush, Kate McKenna, Beverly Shannon and Anne Shoemaker.
Performances from tonight, November 9 to Sunday, December 9 are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and on Sundays at 2PM. There will be two "Cheap Seat" Thursday performances on November 15 and November 29 at 8PM.
