Dundalk Community Theatre Presents TITANIC: THE MUSICAL, 10/26-11/4

One hundred years after the infamous sinking of the legendary ship call The Titanic, Dundalk Community Theatre brings to life the Tony Award winning musical in grand style. TITANIC: The Musical, runs 6 performances only, from Oct 26 to Nov 4th. Director Tom Wyatt assembles an extremely talented cast which expresses the heart and intimacy of the characters through their hopes and visions. Individual tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

Titanic The Musical introduces the audience to the stories of the third class immigrants hoping to start a new and better life in America, and the second class with dream of becoming infamous like the first class passengers. As the story outlines their lives it also tells the tale of what led to its unpredictable demise over its days at sea on the maiden voyage of the vessel. The captivating story not only won a Tony Award for Best Book and Best Score, but also won the covenant Award of Best Musical of 1997, for writer Peter Stone & Maury Yeston.

Returning to DCT, after many years, as Musical Director/Conduction is Ross Scott Rawlings. A veteran of the road, he has traveled the world with shows such as: Fosse starring: Ben Vereen; Sweet Charity starring: Molly Ringwald; Little Women starring: Maureen McGovern; and most recently has toured with Hairspray. Mr. Rawlings serves as Director of Choral Activities at Glenelg High School in Howard County.
