Baltimore Symphony Associates Announce 37th Annual Decorators' Show House

The Baltimore Symphony Associates (BSA) will host its 37th annual Decorators' Show House at the former home of legendary Baltimore quarterback Johnny Unitas and his wife Sandy. From Sunday, April 28 through Sunday, May 19, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the 24 designed spaces in the 1932 stucco home in Legend Hill. Parking is available at the Timonium Presbyterian Church located at 303 W. Timonium Rd., with complimentary shuttle service to and from the Show House. See below for detailed information.

The Decorators' Show House is an annual fundraiser produced by the Baltimore Symphony Associates, the BSO's volunteer organization. Proceeds benefit the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's (BSO) education programs. Show House hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and are available through the BSO Box office, BSOmusic.org and at all Graul's Markets, Budeke Paint Stores and Watson's Garden Centers. Tickets are $30 at the door. Many of the accessories and furnishings used in the designed spaces are available for purchase. Guests may also purchase specialty goods and crafts at the onsite boutique and a cafe offers refreshing light lunches.

The BSA's most popular annual fundraiser will display new trends in fabric and design for home décor. Designers will each redesign one of the 24 spaces in the home, including the foyer, kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms and Great Room of the house. More than 8,000 people visit the Decorators' Show House every year to gain inspiration from some of Maryland's top interior decorators, including past Show House designers Carol Grillo, Pat O'Brien, Jim Ryan, and Betty Reeves and her students of Hartford Community College. New designers this year are Julie Buckner, Andre Cooper and Mary Viega.
