Review: I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE at Players Circle Theater
May 23, 2024

The current production I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change directed by Robert Cacioppo is a complete delight. The cast of four, Natalie Brouwer, Shane Dinan, Amanda Ross, and Ted Wioncek, III, bring strong voices and impressive comedic skill to song after song about every facet of love. I laughed throughout the evening in gleeful recognition of many situations I’ve experienced.

They act, sing, and dance and then add pantomime, funny accents, and playing musical instruments to the mix.  And get up close and personal with the audience, making eye contact without missing a beat.

What did our critic think of SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS at Players Circle Theater? Players Circle Theater has chosen a play that I’m guessing hit close to home for many in the audience. In Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, a lonely older woman hires a younger male ballroom dance teacher to come to her St. Petersburg condo for lessons.
